Okook still the best AYCE K-BBQ

First outing of the new year, started out with everybody's favorite Korean bbq at Ookook. I've decideed to keep the group small, I'm not here for a popularity contest and it's much esier to manage and organize when it's an intimate group.


Tip:
always startt with the non marinated meats so that your grill doesnt become all burned and charred from the marinade. 


$19.99 for lunch all you can eat and 24.99 for dinner.

2012 JRA JAPANESE FOOD FESTIVAL

Another awesome Japanese food festival held at Doubletree Hotel in Little Tokyo. Annual event held every year in November.



The menu it seems it never changes, same as last year but why change it if it works.

IT WAS FUN, IT'S ALWAYS HARD TO GET PEOPLE TO GO TO THIS EVENT EVEN THOUGH IT'S ONE OF THE BEST EVENTS THAT I GO TO. PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO PAY THE $60.00 OR CAN'T GET THE DAY OFF OR  SOME OTHER EXCUSE BUT ONCE YOU GO, YOU LOOK FORWARD TO IT EVERY YEAR. IT'S AN ANNUAL EVENT HELD ALWAYS IN NOVEMBER. THEY EVEN GIVE YOU A PARTING GIFT WITH MISO PASTE AND OTHER COOKING STUFF. FOR GODS SAKE PEOPLE IT'S ALL YOU CAN EAT AND DRINK.
